What is the DGAC?

The Dean's Graduate Advisory Council (DGAC) is a University of Arizona student-run organization that provides an open channel for communication between fellow graduate students and the College of Education (COE) dean, faculty, and administrators.

DGAC takes pride in serving COE graduate students by acting as liaisons among the six College departments. This is accomplished by bringing together a variety of education research areas and, ultimately, creating a sense of College cohesion. Overall, the Council facilitates the success of other students in their education and career aspirations.

Our goals are to...                     COOPERATE
We strive to contribute to the mission of the University of Arizona and the College of Education by providing a forum for communication and awareness of relevant programs throughout the College, the University, and the educational communities served.

SHARE

We maintain a high standard of increasing knowledge of the cultural diversity of our faculty, staff, and students as well as fostering a diverse environment and culture that provides a voice for all members of the College community.

DEVELOP

We encourage, support, and enhance professional development and career progression for students through participation in educational and scholarly activities.

Join a tradition of student camaraderie.

The DGAC club members regularly collaborate in order to organize various College events, seminars, and volunteer activities. Many of these occasions are family-friendly, so we would like to extend our invitation to you and your family to join us at our DGAC outings.
